Recently named on the Top 100 Most Influential People In Drink list by Drinks Retailing, Libby Brodie was an award winning theatre producer, now wine consultant. She is the founder of Bacchus & Brodie Wine Consultancy and City AM’s dedicated wine columnist, with her regular “Wine Without The Snobbery” pages. Published in Condé Nast Traveller, The Independent, the i Paper, Cosmopolitan, Club Oenologique, Harpers Wine & Spirit Magazine, The Buyer, Assemblage and the Daily Mail, Libby has presented online, on radio, podcasts and TV including teaching England Rugby Legend Joe Marler how to taste wine and recommending wines on morning TV.
A qualified wine consultant and self-proclaimed “wine translator” who is passionate about accessible, entertaining wine communication, Libby’s career has included crafting and presenting a wine tourism course for Bright Trip, creating irreverent mini-series ‘Boozy & The Beast: How To Drink Better’ and filming series such as 'Roaming The Rhone' with Joe Wadsack and Andrew Sheridan and The Lisboa Wine Tour. Libby regularly moderates and hosts panels and events, flies around the world as an international wine judge for the IWSC, works with private clients to source and curate their wines and guest lectures at Universities on Wine Communication. She is a judge for the Positive Luxury Awards and Brand Ambassador for Idris Elba’s drinks brand Porte Noire.
Libby co-founded The Wine Collective, a social media strategy company that engages with a younger, more diverse audience and improves the visibility of women in wine and hosts panels and tastings around women in the industry.
