Born with cystic fibrosis, Josh was given a 10% chance of surviving his first night due to complications. Growing up, he was told he wouldn’t make 30. Now 36, he’s a World Record Holding Endurance Athlete, Speaker & Performance Coach.
At 29, he completed the ‘Worlds Fittest Man Challenge’ to become one of only 5 in the world. He completed a 24hr challenge which included lifting 100,000kg’s, cycle 100 miles, row 20 miles, run 10 miles, x-train 10 miles, swim 2 miles, 3,000 setups, 1,000 squats and 1,000 press-ups and was only allowed three 2 minute breaks.
The following year on 29th September 2018, he became the first and only man to lift 1,000,000kg’s in under 24 hours to raise awareness for cystic fibrosis, beating the old record by over 500,000kg’s. In October 2019, Josh completed a 5 day non-stop triathlon which included a 21 mile swim, 200 mile cycle and 160 mile run.
The end of 2021 saw Josh complete a 24 hour squat challenge and just four weeks later, complete a 24 hour run around Cardiff with stress fractures in his lower legs and a torn quad.
His mission has always been to show people what’s possible with the right mindset so in December 2022, Josh launched Lift Club, a community to help Lift 1 million people. Focussing on the mind, body and health, Josh is on a mission to help people all over the World through weekly content, online programs and group coaching. The community is now 14,000+ strong and growing every week.
